NCAAF Week 7 Recap

Teams will rise and teams will fall.  That is life in college football.  That was never more evident than during this week of NCAA Football.  Four teams in the Top 10 fell in another wild weekend!

Georgia took a beatdown on the road this week to become the highest ranked victim.  They were not the only ones, though, as West Virginia and Colorado fell from the ranks of the unbeaten.  All three of these teams are down but none of them are out as there is still a half season of football to play.

LSU brought Georgia and its fans back down to earth by man-handling them 36-16.  Michigan State slowed the high-flying Penn State offense and snuck out a 21-17 win.  Not all upstarts were so lucky as Vanderbilt blew a 21-3 lead to the Florida Gators and Memphis squandered a 30-17 halftime lead.

The Elldee Sports Team of the Week has to be the LSU Tigers, not for only beating the #2 Georgia Bulldogs but by the way it was accomplished.  Once again the formula hovered just below 50% in the spread and the o/u predictions.  My new “best picks” section also went 1-2.  I guess you can’t win them all.
