How ’bout dem Boys! I’m sure we are all going to hear that a lot this week. The Cowboys are not the only team that made a statement this week. There were a few exciting games this week along with traditional powers taking control again.
The Pittsburgh Steelers put themselves in prime position to regain control of the AFC North by virtue of defeating the Cincinatti Bengals. Le’veon who? The KC Chiefs could not steal a win in New England, though they did stay within the spread to earn the cover. Additionally, the Chargers travelled across the country to hand a beat down to the upstart Cleveland Browns with an impressive victory.
What in the world happened to the Jacksonville Jaguars?!? They went from a superbowl contending darkhorse into a laughing stock by allowing the offensively challenged Cowboys put up 40 points on them. Was this a fluke or have the Jags lost their mojo? Houston is hoping that their win over the Bills has them turning a corner as they were finally able to finish a game and get a win, although we are talking about a win against the Bills.
So once again the formula finished right at 50% vs the spread and only just 1/3 of the time on the over/under. While that is not great, my best bets for the NFL went 4-0 this week. This was my first week making best bet predictions so I hope this is a sign of things to come. Winner winner, chicken dinner!! Lets keep this up!
