The NFC South has got to be the toughest division in the NFL as, once again, they have gone undefeated this week. The LA Chargers held on in Europe while the Eagles stumbled. Are we any closer to determining the playoffs after Week 7?
The Saints impressed this week by going on the road and defeating the Baltimore Ravens 24-23. They werent the only ones to impress as the Carolina Panthers travelled to Philadelphia as 5-pt underdogs and erased a 17-0 fourth quarter deficit to win by 4! The Falcons and Buccaneers held off their opponents to keep pace with the rest of the division.
The Jacksonville Jaguars were hoping that a change of venue ,to their second home in London, would get them out of their offensive funk. It almost worked but the LA Chargers are just playing too well right now and escaped with a win, 20-19. The Cowboys fell to their nemesis, the Washington Redskins, after a debatable call in the closing seconds. All I can say is play better earlier in the game and they won’t have to worry about the refs deciding the outcome.
So my formula won 69% against the spread this week in the best showing since week 2. The over/under prediction didnt do as well. My best bets went 3-2 this week, a far cry from last weeks 4-0 but now I am a total of 7-2 when picking best bets for the NFL.
