It’s time for Best Bets Week 9 edition! Yes, yes, I know this is only my 3rd week doing this but it seemed fitting and less confusing if I just called it week 9. There are four games that will be winners for sure so let’s get started!
Clemson (-17) @ FSU
Purdue (+1) @ Michigan State
Kansas State @ Oklahoma (-24.5)
Tennessee (+8) @ South Carolina
I don’t care how much FSU has improved the past month. Any team that struggled to beat Samford at home will not put up much of a fight against Clemson. Look for Clemson to force FSU to be one-dimensional after stopping the run and dominate the scoreboard.
Purdue has shown they are a team to be reckoned with, particularly on offense so expect them to keep rolling. I wouldn’t be shocked to see this one go over the total as well.
K-State is semi-tough at home but velvet soft in the road. Oklahoma can’t help but score, even when trying to milk the clock. This will be an easy cover in Norman.
Tennessee has improved every week and South Carolina has sat steady or slightly regressed so far this season. The Gamecocks are no pushover but Jeremy Pruitt has the Volunteers and all of Knoxville believing in a turnaround. They may not win but Tennessee will keep it close.
You can count on these winners as I am looking to go 4-0 armed with knowledge and the formula. Hopefully we have another great weekend of football as we are moving past the mid-season into the later half. Good luck!
