Wow, what a week. Teams are starting to seperate themselves and the playoff race is really taking shape. How much of the impressiveness is from weak opponents or is there that large of a gap between the haves and have nots?
Alabama absolutlely destroyed the LSU Tigers 29-0…in Baton Rouge…at night! This is the same LSU team that beat Georgia in Baton rouge 3 weeks ago by three scores. The Michigan Wolverines lit up the Big House by crushing the Penn State Nittany Lions 42-7 moving them up to #4 in the latest rankings. They are now only one spot behind Notre Dame, the only team to beat them in Week One.
Oh how the mighty have fallen! Louisville, just two years removed from a Heisman Trophy QB and championship contender took a beating as Clemson sent a message with a 77-16 annihilation! As a matter of fact, the whole ACC outside of Clemson is lost. Currently, Pitt is next in line to get hammered by Clemson in the ACC Championship Game.
The Elldee Sports Best Bets rocked a 3-0-1 this week bringing the win rate up to 73.3%. My lone “push” came after Texas A&M lost a 10-pt lead in the fourth quarter…ugh!! If the playoffs started today the top four would be Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame, and Michigan. Until next week, good luck.
