There’s actually not much to say that I haven’t said in recent weeks about the NFL. We are now firmly in the grind of the professional football league. Many teams crumble at this point under the weight of a 16-game regular season.
The Steelers are rounding into form by defeating the Baltimore Ravens in Baltimore by a touchdown. Cam Newton and the Panthers continue to win, this week over the Buccaneers, even with Fitzmagic. Even the Atlanta Falcons won despite their rollercoaster ride this year and are sitting at 4-4.
The Los Angeles Rams finally fell to the New Orleans saints and there are no more unbeatens left in the NFL this season. The Cowboys are struggling once again. What is the weak link for the Cowboys? Coach Garrett? Dak Prescott? The Defense? All of the above? The craziest part is that they are still only two games out of first place in the dumpster fire that is the NFC East.
The Elldee Sports Best Bets went a paltry 50% this week in the worst week to date which brought the total win percentage to 70.6%. This is still respectable but that doesn’t comfort those who were wrong half of the time this week. Count on the wins to mount going forward. Until next week, good luck.
